Henry John Bear (Green Party) was a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. He assumed office on December 4, 2012. He left office on December 4, 2018.

Bear (Green Party) ran for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 2. He lost as a write-in in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Bear was a Green Party candidate for Maine's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House. He was disqualified before the November 6, 2018, general election.

In November 2017, Bear announced that he changed his party affiliation from Democratic to Green Independent.[1]

Bear was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 144 of the Maine House of Representatives. He withdrew from the race on August 30, 2016.
