Henry R. Quintero
Henry R. Quintero is a former chief judge of the Sixth Judicial District, which presides over Luna, Grant, and Hidalgo counties in New Mexico.[1] Quintero was appointed to the district court in 2003, elected in 2004, and retained in 2008 and 2014.[2][3] He retired from the bench on March 24, 2017.[4]
Biography
Quintero received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State University and his J.D. from Gonzaga University.[2]
Prior to his elevation to the bench, Quintero worked as an attorney in private practice for twenty-one years. He also worked for one year as an appellate attorney for the State of New Mexico in the Public Defender Department.[2]
Elections
2014
Quintero was retained to the 6th District Court with 68.5 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]
Judicial performance evaluation
