Prior to his election to the Superior Court in 2012, Rawson served a judge on the Okanogan County District Court.[2]

Washington held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. Candidates for district and superior court seats had to file for election by May 20, 2016. Primary elections were held on August 2, 2016, for six seats where more than two candidates filed for election. Incumbent Henry Rawson ran unopposed in the Okanogan Superior Court nonpartisan general election for Position 1.[3]

2012

Rawson was elected to seat on the Okanogan County Superior Court. He defeated Karl F. Sloan in the primary election on August 7th, winning 59.87 percent of the vote.[4][5]

2010

Rawson ran for re-election to the district court in 2010. He defeated Rick Weber in the general election.[2]
