Herbert Dixon
Herbert B. Dixon (b. July 29, 1949) is a former Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 26 from 2008 to his resignation on December 11, 2014, for health reasons.[1]
Biography
Dixon's professional experience includes working as a field representative and sales representative for National Motor Club Incorporated. He served in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1978.[2]

On October 22, 2011, Dixon won re-election to District 61 of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the October 22 primary election, assuring his re-election.[3]

In 2007, Dixon was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives. He defeated Kelven G. Sanders, Mary James Wardsworth, and Victor Kirk.[4]
