Kriegshauser published a candidate statement on the Rockwood School District website:
“ | Since 2007 I have served on Rockwood Budget, Finance and Bond Committees. We are an excellent AAA rated district. High student performance. Major problem is providing funding. Two-thirds comes from local property taxes. Remaining mostly from state and federal sources. We have relied on bond issues to maintain facilities and improve technology. We lost bond issues in 2012 and 2013. We are drawing on reserves. I believe my education in business administration, accounting and finance, career in business and previous and current service on several boards, provides me with the broad experience necessary to work with our board to resolves our funding problems. Together we can find solutions to maintain Rockwood as an excellent AAA rated school district.[5] | ” |
