For nearly two decades, Hermon has established a thriving career working in real estate and home finance. Over 19 years of success and hard work in the private sector as a Solution Consultant & Presidents' Club Mortgage Banker have proven Hermon knows how to get things done! With his knowledge of economic affairs, no candidate in this race is better prepared than Hermon Barbe to deliver a strong economic recovery for District 20, and the State of Michigan at large. “After two disastrous years of complete Democrat control of the Michigan Legislature, we’re left with a broken state that costs too much and delivers too little. My plan is simple- LET'S FIX IT! I’m running for State Rep to help roll back bureaucracy, strengthen Michigan families, deliver accountability to parents, defend religious liberty, cut taxes on small businesses, and improve Michigan’s educational system so that future generations of Michiganders not only want to live here, but thrive here!".Please visit www.Hermon2024.com to learn more, donate, and add your email for campaign updates!
- 1). INTEGRITY. "The propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that DISREGARDS the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained..." -President George Washington to Congress, April 30, 1789. <--- This prophetic warning is for us to ponder today.
Our humble nation was established with love & respect for the righteous rule of law, with honorable morals and boundaries as our foundation. While imperfect, we were a God-fearing nation who understood justice and truth. We were great because we knew and embraced what was good & true.
It is time to return and embrace those rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained. The next generation is counting on us! - 2). ELECTION INTEGRITY. Election integrity and security are paramount to successful, fair elections. I have personally participated in the 2020 and 2022 elections, having been both a poll watcher, and election worker. I saw the fraud with my own eyes! This is a matter of national security, regardless of party. Severe repercussions are needed for crimes committed, and we must come back to one-day voting, on paper ballots. Full, forensic audits of our elections should be in place, no exceptions, no excuses. We know that elections have consequences, and now you see that stolen elections have detrimental consequences!
- 3). FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. For the past two decades, I have worked in finance and real estate. I have had a front-row seat to the real-life economic struggles, goals, and problems, facing our fellow citizens and families. I sincerely love helping people and solving problems! <--- This is what I do, and why I will be an amazing asset to our Michigan House of Representatives! Fiscal responsibility and accountability are needed from our legislature. The House sets the budget for the state, and ultimately it is our tax dollars and our future on the line! Michigan needs a fiscal conservative to help reign-in big government spending, reduce taxes, help our small businesses, and improve value for our community, and the next generation.
Also, I understand that we must raise the standard of integrity and justice in our state government. It takes mature men and women who know, understand, and respect the righteous rule of law to lead and govern correctly. Foundational principles of eternal truth and justice must be re-established in our land if we are to thrive and be a lighthouse to the nation. Good government requires good oversight.
Ultimately, we are only serving in our state legislature for a short time. I would like us to do the good we can, by all the means we can, in all the ways we can, in all the places we can, at all the times we can, to all the people we can, as long as ever we can.
I am more concerned about the relationship between the governor and the Constitution, and the state legislature's relationship with the Constitution. If all branches of our state government are in the right alignment with the righteous rule of law and order, then our governing bodies will work well for We The People.
I am sincerely looking to help make our state great again. I want to help bring back American jobs, create an environment conducive for small business owners, and help re-create a new, thriving middle-class for the 21st century!
