Herschel Whitfield Arant (1887-1941) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 9, 1939 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 21st, and received commission on March 4th. He served on this court until his death on January 14, 1941.[1]
