General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 11 percent of the vote. He competed against Robert Richardson Jr., Richard H. Dunavant, Shara A. Flacy, Robert W. Curtis, Stan Pierchoski, and Randal Lee Sands. [1]
