Ballot title

The ballot title for this measure was as follows:

Shall the city amend the Charter, which provides that the term of any elected official commence at noon on the third day after election, to provide instead that, beginning with the election held in November 2025, the term of office for Mayor commence at noon on the second Monday in January following election, and if amended, then the incumbent Mayor's term be extended to January 12, 2026, when the successor's 4-year term shall begin?
