Higher Education Committee, Washington House of Representatives (decommissioned)
The Higher Education Committee was a standing committee of the Washington House of Representatives.
Function
In 2014, the Washington State Legislature described the function of this committee as outlined below.

Issues include governance and coordination of higher education, financial aid, tuition, distance learning, and the licensing of private colleges and career schools.
