Mike Rockwood is the superintendent of the Highland Park Independent School District. Rockwood was appointed superintendent on April 18, 2023, and started serving on May 27, 2023. Rockwood's previous career experience includes working as superintendent for the Lake Dallas Independent School District.[1]

Past superintendents

  • Tom Trigg was the superintendent of the Highland Park Independent School District from June 22, 2015 until June 30, 2023.[2] Trigg's previous career experience includes working as the superintendent of the Blue Valley Unified School District 229, a high school principal, and a mathematics instructor.[3]

The Highland Park Independent School District board of trustees consists of seven members elected to three-year terms. All board members are elected at large by place.[4]
