A Hillsdale Local School District Income Tax & Property Tax question was defeated on the February 5, 2013 election ballot in Wayne and Ashland counties, which are in Ohio.
If approved, this question would have authorized the Hillsdale Local School District to impose an income tax of 1.25% for five years and to impose an additional property tax levy of 7.9 mills ($7.9 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for two years in order to fund the District operations and expenses.[1]
