2016
Three of the five seats on the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbents Michele Berke, Desrie Campbell, and Ann Crosbie all filed for re-election. They defeated candidates Dax Choksi and Hiu Ng to win additional terms on the board.[1][2]

Funding
Ng filed an exemption form detailing Ng would not spend or receive more than $2,000 for this campaign. Because of this, Ng did not have to file additional campaign finance reports.[3][4]
2014
Two at-large seats on the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Only one incumbent, Larry Sweeney, filed to run for re-election. He ran against challengers Hiu Ng, Moina Shaiq, Yang Shao and Dax Choksi. Sweeney won his bid for re-election. Shao also won a seat on the board.
