Holland Township Electric Franchise Proposal (November 2012)
A Holland Township Electric Franchise proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Ottawa County, which is in Michigan, where it was approved.
This proposal authorized the Township of Holland to grant a franchise to the City of Holland to transact local business in the Township.[1]

| “ | Shall the non-exclusive franchise granted for thirty (30) years by the Charter Township of Holland, County of Ottawa, State of Michigan, to the City of Holland, to use the streets, alleys, and other public places of the Township for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy, to construct electric lines, towers, poles, and appurtenances, to operate and maintain the same, and to transact local business in the Township, all subject to reasonable regulations as the Township Board shall prescribe from time to time, be confirmed?[1][2] | ” |
