Hollie a lifelong Hoosier with a passion for advocacy. • Disability Rights is something that I will fight for. All individuals, regardless of their abilities, should have the right to equality and inclusion in all aspects of life.
  • I am passionate about standing up for Women's Rights. This includes being free from domestic violence, having equal pay, and body autonomy. Every human should have the right to their own body and medical decisions.
  • I believe that Housing Inequality needs addressed. Indiana’s legislatures should encourage more affordable housing by looking into rent control laws. As of currently, Indiana doesn't have a state-wide rent control law, which is detrimental to low-income households. Without the state-wide rent control law in place, landlords can increase rent by any amount, with the exceptions of retaliation, discrimination, or in the middle of a lease’s term. We need to offer solutions to fix our housing crisis here in Indiana.
I am passionate about creating a more sustainable future for the underserved. This includes, but not limited to, housing for low income families,
The willingness to truly listen to all sides of an issue is a key characteristic of a good elected official, as they are working for the people.
I am a fighter and never give up. I've had several health issues that I have overcome, and it has taught me to keep pushing through. We need to get back to civility in our political realm and remember we are the people's voice.

I firmly believe there should be 100% transparency on the State budget, and those who mishandle the budget should be held accountable.
I believe that a state ballot initiative process would be good for Indiana. This allows the citizens' voices to really be heard.
