The California Dream is for a world that releases its fear of scarcity in exchange for knowing that the secret to living is giving. Life is abundant. We must set a courageous course for a future where we all Flourish. Holly Baade offers visionary leadership for a brighter tomorrow. As California State Governor, Holly will end and make illegal all mandates associated with the C-19 bio weapon. She will also prosecute those who have been instrumental in implementing them with treason against our state and constitutional rights. Holly will focus on bringing transparency to governance for greater public-oversight of all public monies and natural resources. For businesses, Holly will open the economy and get reparations into the hands of business owners and self-employed people. She will create new micro-grants for businesses of all types to build communities and enliven infrastructure. For families, Holly will create school and medical freedom and provide free community college and school choice vouchers. She will also outlaw the current common-core academic indoctrination system and allow for more vibrant public school curriculum. For individuals, Holly will ensure equity and access to all, regardless of ability, disability, ethnicity, gender, or other self-expression and identification. For all Californians, Holly will immediately increase fire prevention, aid to firefighters and police officers, increase water rights, and address our water-resources needs. Holly2021.Com
  • It is time for California to have, a Home for every person, a Job for every household, Food for every table, Care for every child, & a Path for everyone to become a positive, contributing, educated member of our communities.
  • “Our collective wealth is found within the health and happiness of each one of us, and within our individual health and happiness is found our collective wealth.”
  • OUR CULTURE CANNOT BE DICTATED BY CORPORATIONS AND THE INTERESTS OF GENERATING PROFITS. It is time to have clear separation between: The Economic Sphere The Political Sphere The Cultural/Personal Sphere
Transparency is governance is the key to having an informed citizenry that can actively participate in decisions on matters that affect each and every one of us. I would like to see an online portal where citizens can go and get real-time information on where our state’s monetary and natural resources are coming from and going to - in a dynamic infographic that aggregates public data. Without being able to easily see and comprehend the flow of resources (or the hidden storing and hoarding of public resources) it is impossible to have honest governance. I would also like to see questions that the citizens of our state have a greater impact in how law makers choose to use their time in crafting legislation. The people’s voice, and not special interest, should drive where lawmakers focus their time and resources. I would like to see public campaign-finance and to see an end of public lobbying and money playing a part of political decision-making. I am very interested in ending any state over-reach of citizen rights and liberties based in our state and national constitutions. I will work to prosecute those lawmakers who have colluded to force free citizens to lose their lives and livelihoods to state imposed medical mandates as a breach of state and religion, as “science” is being treated as a religion with imbalances in application for social mandates. I seek balance and will work to findharmony in how the political parties work together to bring about the public good.
I have been a single mother for 15 years. I have a 20 year old son and a 17 year old daughter. I look up to my children, as they always see right through my words, actions and intentions. They have taught me never to seek to hide my motives, to always be honest, to have it be ok that I am always learning too, and to never assume I know what is going on for others - but to always seek to understand before I seem to be understood.

Honesty. Morality. Humility. Integrity. Visionary: I believe in a model for elected officials where people are not career politicians but are rather servants of humanity who take a turn in an elected capacity while earning their living in a different and separate way so that there can be no person gain or power but only love as a motivator. I believe it is important to be a servant of the people one is representing: to raise the voices of the unheard and raise the standard of living for the suffering. I believe it is important to be like the general who leads from the battlefield (not behind a desk) and to also be like a CEO who takes out the trash and sweeps the floor too. Essentially, I believe in leadership that is allowed to become a presence within and among people as a feeling and a pathway to allow for innovation and new ways of thinking to take place. “No problem can be solved by the same consciousness as that which has created it.”
LEADERSHIP AS A PRESENCE

The “State of Emergency” California finds itself in is a direct result of our lack of leadership at the top most levels of our state’s governance. The role of governor cannot be one of monarchy or dictatorship, but that of noble service for the people’s voice, values and vision. Confirming the recall is essential to allow greater light into our state’s “dark-night.” The Soul of California has been lost to corporate greed and predatory power-structures, but we can reclaim our spirit and re-emerge stronger and wiser for the journey we have been on together! I truly feel that I am the best candidate for the position of Governor of the State of California. I am not another cookie-cutter politician. I am an honest, intelligent, dynamic person, willing to serve. I hold Mastery in Public Administration, Leadership, Business Development, Team-Building, Health, Education and Community Engagement. It is time for our state, and our nation, to move away from the patriarchy paradigm of top-down policy and find a balanced perspective in governance. As a woman who understands public service and management, and who honors the masculine and blended perspectives, I bring the fresh “balance within power” we have been waiting for in the Golden State of California! If we are honest, we all know it is time to elect more women and people of diverse ethnic backgrounds to the power structures in the political sphere. But it is equally important to elect people that are not career politicians. It is time to elect someone outside the “system” without years in it… who is qualified to lead (and has in fact taught leadership and organizational development to state employees, including executives. I am this candidate! Perhaps you will choose me to be your candidate!
The next person elected to be the Governor of California will have a lot of work to do. First, there will be a massive ending of illegal laws, not just with regard to personal medical mandates and all policies related to C-19, but also: the hiding of water resources, the draining of our waterways, the restricting of the rain, the geo-engineering of our weather, the encroachment upon privacy with drone surveillance technologies, the infringement of state constitutional rights with regard to water use and other natural resources. Essentially, there is so much corruption that a massive amount of effort will have to be expended to bring it all to light and create criminal charges to prevent it from continuing. There is an emergency in our state, but its not from covid and I will be very prompt in using it to stop the treasonous behavior from those currently in power who have over-stepped their authority. I will also see to it that those who need help receive it quickly, and that our natural resources are saved as much as possible from destruction by preventable fires. I will increase pay for police, teachers, state employees and create a universal basic income as well as a value-based currency.
HUMAN LIFE & HUMAN INTELLIGENCE

It is easy to want to give up our human capacities in exchange for technology that promises to defy the gravities of our human, physical natures in exchange for a world lived in the mind-alone through Artificial Intelligence. There are power-structures at this time in business and in government (both local and global) that are currently influencing state law and emerging policy to push our world into a “Virtual” reality. I am not ready to give up on humanity, or on our planet Earth. I see that Ai can be used wisely, but also with a look to what supports human life and livelihood. No human is replaceable. All humans are essential. To push humans out of work, for greater leisure ? or space exploration at a time when we do not have our Earth’s wellbeing in-motion. No. I do not support this. I will call a halt to all Ai programs that threaten human life and livelihood in exchange for profits. When I am Governor, all Ai programs will begin going under intense review! There is something else beyond sport & leisure that excess money and time brings which wants to be experienced by human beings - and it is meaning. We want to find value in what we do and why we do it. To add value to life brings us joy and happiness. The obstacles we face and the problems we must solve provide us the context to discover what we have inside, what our strengths are and how we can work together to bring about positive change for all of life. I believe there is a way to embrace innovation and at the same time build from a place where our hearts are connected to our minds, so that we achieve an ensouled balance with new technologies. As my legacy, I see working with Ai for inherently soulful and positive goals as a way to bring balance between biological and mechanical intelligence. For me, what would feel like success is for us to look at human life, and the diverse and beautiful life on our planet, as more valuable than any abstract accumulation.
I was born in 1972. I believe the Vietnam war was just ending and the rise of the counter-culture was just beginning. What is most significant about this is my mother was a free-spirit “flower child.” My father was a self-made entrepreneur. I was born out of a time of expansion and great freedom to feel and be what is in the heart and mind of a human being. I carry this feeling and knowing - that it is the right of each and all humans - to follow their heart and have the capacity to build their dreams, without oppression by any government, domestic or foreign.
My first job was as a reporter for my high school newspaper. I enjoyed meeting people and gaining their trust, and writing stories about people that create positive memories.
The Glass Bead Game by Herman Hesse. The capacity to see seemingly separate things as relating to each other to create a beautiful whole…. He one a Nobel peace prize for this book. I believe it holds many clues as to how to create a harmonious society.
Well to tell you the truth, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Moon River, Theme Song to Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I’ve always been a bit of “Holly Golightly.”
PROSPERITY + PEACE

I grew up for a time on welfare as a child. I lived in cockroach infested ghetto apartments and experienced hunger. As a single mother, I also have, at times, supplemented my adult income with food stamps/EBT. I understand what it feels like to have hopelessness and be seeking inspiration for a way to a better life. I know what it takes to get off of government subsidies and into creative, empowered work. It is not shame or being “thrown away,” it is encouragement, praise, assistance and most importantly - not judging people for their circumstances. Participatory governance begins by listening to all the voices that need to be heard, to all the hurt that must be healed, to all the wounds that need repair and to all the ugly that has gone unseen for fall too long in ourselves, and in our society. If we say people matter but do not really give them what they need to feel like they, or those they love and are responsible to and for, will be OK, then we have not lifted people up or supported them, we have used them once again… for something that takes away from their basic dignity and grace. It is time, in California, to stop talking about who should receive support and care, and simply ensure that all people have homes, all people have food, all people have inspiring ways to contribute and feel apart of the group in ways that bring joy, and a sense of true value. Nothing less, will do. This is a moment in time when we can build a Flourishing Future for California and for the Earth. I will lead the way to prosperity and peace for all people, and especially people who have been oppressed for generations - without bringing shame or lack of opportunity for those that are doing well. I will bring forth policies that increase equity and equality, beginning with a basic income for all people who are citizens residing in the state. I will seek to support immigrants as well, and to protect immigrant families!
Leadership begins with being able to listen and facilitate the conversations that want to happen to collectively bring new ways of thinking to build new solutions to address the challenges we face individually and collectively. Emergent leadership allows one who is in authority to create space for innovation and ideas that come from many voices, not just one. Servant leadership seeks to use humility as well as wisdom, not to dictate outcomes but to assess the situation and to offer key solutions that allow others to feel empowered instead of oppressed and made to use their time in ways that are self-defeating. A Governor above all must model the way, and be an impeccably honest emergent and servant leader of the people.
The Governor sets the tone for how others in the state leadership will carry themselves. The most important quality and responsibility as a governor is to be honest, to lead from within the people and not set one’s self above the people.
The governor should propose the state budget, and be able to amend it mid-term if needed as surprises arise, and to work with the state lawmakers to find a balanced and harmonious middle-path of supportive powers.
The line-item veto can be effective for moving along legislation that otherwise would be vetoed altogether and I feel it is a good power for the Governor to have. I do however feel that greater up-front collaboration should be had between the governor and the legislature to avoid the need of this tool so that it is a last-resort.
I believe the governor should be a facilitator of compromise when needed and should have a line-item veto power.
The relationship between a Governor and State Legislature should be collaborative, transparent and honest. It should be a relationship that allows for emergent-leadership and shared goal making. It should not be contentious, but may be if there are dishonest parties or parties that are seeking to serve special interest instead of the public good.
I am a hometown Sacramento girl. I was born in Sacramento, went to Sacramento State University and graduated with a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California State Capitol Center. I love our coastline, our mountains, our deserts and our rivers. I love our people, our natural flora and fauna and our beautiful skies. I love our cities, and our suburbs, our rural communities and our little funky towns! California is a golden state. It has a destiny, one of truth, beauty and goodness for all people. We are meant to hold and turn the tide of our nation and the world to bring Love to Life.
Criminal activity and dishonesty at the highest levels of governance is our greatest challenge. Not just with the forced closure of businesses, forced closures of schools, forced covering of faces so people cannot breathe freely and well, but also the torture of innocent elderly left alone to die without family, the abuse of medical staff who are forced to harm instead of do the work they love to help and make people better when they don’t feel well, and also the great separation caused between friends and family and neighbors due to hypnosis and mind-manipulation by rolling out a “campaign” to cause fear related to a lab created bio weapon designed to harm people, divide them and draw a noose around them to kill off any free thought and request for liberty. I will not stand aside and let my state disintegrate into criminal chaos and controlled corporate fascism. The challenge of our state is to awaken to the war we are now in to separate us from each other and from our civil, state and national liberties.
I’m pretty literal. Usually, what makes me laugh is something in the moment and not “canned.”
The Emergency Services Act gives California’s governor broad emergency authority so that in a crisis, the authority normally held by the entire legislature may be consolidated and exercised by the executive. After declaring an emergency, a governor may disregard statutory law to direct state resources in responding to a crisis. The challenge with emergency powers is that they can be abused, as is the case with our current Governor Newsom and the creation of illegal and unconstitutional administrative “mandates” that have harmed millions of people. By granting the governor these powers, the state legislature delegated its power to fix public policy and deploy funds during emergencies. This raises questions of separation of powers concerns. While it wise to empower the Governor with emergency powers, using them to create a crisis - such as joblessness and massive unemployment and businesses closers and school closures and skyrocketing homelessness - should be seen as especially illegal and crimes against humanity.
