Holly Broadbent
Holly Broadbent is a justice of the Massachusetts District Courts. She was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick (D) on September 12, 2014, and her nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council on November 12, 2014.[1][2] Broadbent may serve on the court until she reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]
Education
Broadbent received her undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1994 and her J.D. from the Suffolk University School of Law in 1997.[1][2]
Career
From 2001 until she joined the Gloucester District Court in 2014, Broadbent served as the chief of the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. She previously served as an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office from 1999 to 2001.[1][2]
