Holly Gillespie Pisarik is the former South Carolina Director of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. She was first appointed to the position on March 2, 2012, by Governor Nikki Haley and confirmed by the Senate on March 29.[1] Pisarik left office in December 2014 to assume another position in state government not announced at the time of her resignation.[2]

At the time of her appointment, Pisarik was serving as the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Chief Advice Counsel.[1] Before coming to the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, Pisarik worked at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP, practicing primarily in the area of health care, and representing clients before federal, state and administrative law courts and administrative agencies.[1] Prior to law school, Pisarik worked for the Florida Department of Health as a public information officer and program manager.[1]

Following her tenure as director of labor, licensing, and regulation, Pisarik served as special assistant to the director of state department of social services before becoming Governor Nikki Haley's chief counsel in August 2015.[3]

Pisarik was first appointed to the position on March 2, 2012, by Governor Nikki Haley and confirmed by the Senate on March 29.[1] She served in office until December 2014, when she left the office and was replaced by Richele Taylor.[2]
