I am passionate about community involvement and keeping small towns alive and keeping Sunburst self sufficient.
  • I am committed to strengthening and modernizing our town's infrastructure - water, sewer, and essential services - so that our community remains reliable, resilient and ready for the future.
  • I will continue working to ensure the financial and environmental sustainability of our town, making smart decisions today that secure a stronger tomorrow for our families and businesses.
  • I believe in creating a safe and healthy community where families can thrive, and businesses can grow. Together, we can foster the right environment for opportunity and prosperity.
Enforcement of our ordnances for the health and safety of our community.
I look up to leaders who put faith, family, and community at the center of their lives. I admire people who serve with integrity, humility, and a strong commitment to doing what’s right, even when it’s not easy. Their example reminds me that leadership is not about seeking recognition, but about serving others, protecting our values, and leaving our community better for the next generation. That is the example I strive to follow as a mayor, a parent, and a neighbor.
To be fiscally responsible to the tax payors in all decisions.
I want my legacy to be that I left our town stronger, safer, and more united than when I first took office. I hope people will remember me as a mayor who listened, who cared deeply about families, and who made decisions that protected our values while preparing for the future. My goal is to create a community where our children and grandchildren can thrive — with opportunities to grow, a safe place to call home, and a foundation that will serve generations to come.
I had a weekly paper route with the Shelby Promoter. I delivered 92 papers on foot, every Wednesday - from age 9 to 14.
To me, being Mayor means being a servant leader—someone who listens to the needs of the people, brings people together, and makes decisions with the best interests of the entire community in mind. It’s about guiding our town toward growth while protecting the values and traditions that make it special. Leadership means rolling up your sleeves to address challenges, being accountable for results, and ensuring our city is safe, sustainable, and welcoming for everyone
I believe the ideal relationship between the mayor’s office and law enforcement should be built on mutual respect, accountability, and collaboration. The mayor has a responsibility to support law enforcement with the resources and leadership they need to keep our community safe, while also ensuring transparency and responsiveness to the public. Together, we can foster trust, protect individual rights, and create a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
The Sunburst Community Center, being a part of making this wonderful place for the community to gather. All of the volunteers and donors - I can't help but smile every time I think about how much our town values it.
