Holly Lambert
Holly Lambert is the Indiana Commissioner of Insurance. She assumed office on October 16, 2024. Her current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Gov. Eric Holcomb (R) appointed Lambert as Indiana Commissioner of Insurance on October 1, 2024, to succeed Amy Beard following her resignation.[1] Lambert was reappointed by Gov. Mike Braun (R).[2]
Biography
Holly Williams Lambert earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Purdue University in 2007 and a J.D. from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010. Her career experience includes working as a market conduct attorney in the Indiana Department of Insurance enforcement division, as deputy general counsel, as chief deputy commissioner of the consumer protection unit, as general counsel for the Department of Insurance, and as chief of staff for the department.[3][4]
