Holly Robichaud is founder of Tuesday Associates, a Massachusetts-based political consulting firm specializing in campaign strategy, earned media, direct mail, voter contact programs and fundraising.[1] She is also a reporter, blogger and radio personality for the Boston Herald, often using the moniker "The Lone Republican".[2][3] In 2011, Robichaud was named to Aristotle's Excellence Awards' "National Republican Dream Team" for her work in direct mail.[4]
Career
Robichaud was elected to the Massachusetts Republican state committee in 1988, becoming the youngest female ever to hold that position.[1] From 1989 to 1994, she served as a legislative aide to the Republican whip in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and from 1994 to 1996 she was chief of staff to the Republican leader. In 1997, she was research director for then-Massachusetts Treasurer Joe Malone (R-Mass.).[5]
In 1998, Robichaud was campaign manager for Vermont Republican Jack McMullen's campaign for United States Senate. That year she was also campaign manager for South Carolina Republican Mike Burkhold's campaign for the United States House of Representatives from South Carolina's 5th Congressional District.[5] In 1998, Campaigns and Elections magazine named Robichaud a "rising star".[1]
Through her firm, Tuesday Associates, Robichaud has received national recognition for her work in campaigns. In 2011, she won a Reed Award from Campaigns and Elections magazine as well as a "Pollie Award" from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) for campaign brochure design. Also, in 2011, she was named to Aristotle's Excellence Awards' "National Republican Dream Team" for her work in direct mail.[6] In 2012, she won another three Pollie Awards from the AAPC.[1] In 2015, she won a Pollie for Ballot Measure Campaign of the Year.[7]
Robichaud has worked with the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.[1] She has worked as an instructor at several campaign schools including the Leadership Institute as instructor for grassroots and the National Federation of Republican Women as lead trainer.[1][4] In addition to her campaign work, she is a political analyst for the Boston Herald and a writer for Winning Campaigns magazine.[1]
