A Hopi Tribal Constitution Referendum was voted on January 27, 2011 in the Hopi nation, which is in Navajo county, Arizona.

This measure had sought to change the tribal constitution which was first adopted in 1936. Members of the tribe did not like the provisions which would have taken away sovereignty from Hopi villages, the new constitution would have reorganized the tribe into four branches, the current system has one branch of government. The vote surpassed the 30 percent threshold needed to validate the results.[1]
