I am an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church pastoring Greater Lee Chapel in the city of El Dorado. I'm a twenty-year Army veteran, retired with the rank of Major. I have worked as a Social Worker, Coach, Athletic Director, and held numerous church committee chairs. As a graduate of The Union County ULEAD class and Vice President of the Union County NAACP, I am well prepared to represent District 96 from day one. I research laws to find the intent of the law, and then see if the impact matches the intent. I keep people informed of what is going on, and the future outlook. Expect the bottom-line up front, because I will tell people what they need to hear and not necessary what they want to hear. I will represent all the people in District 96t by standing on the floor of the House speaking the truth. One simple question is: Why do we do what we do?
  • Your vote can make a difference.
  • You cannot correct what you won't confront.
  • Don't spend time wasting time.
President Barack Obama represented our nation with class, confidence and integrity. I respect his perseverance in spite of the animosity shown toward him and his wife.
Able and willing to serve people by effecting change needed in policy making. Being available to the people in the district.
Foundry Worker - Magnolia, AR - 2 years
In Pursuit of Purpose - Myles Monroe When we as a people lose our sense of purpose, our significance fails as well. We go through life accepting anything or anyone who sounds right instead of knowing what is right for ourselves.
We must not only hear each other, but rather be able to listen to each other. This is important to view issues from another perspective.
When any issue arises use common sense to solve the issue.
In politics there are no permanent enemies or permanent friends, only permanent interests. As legislators we can have differences of opinions and methods, however, we must compromise at times to reach our common destination.
