A Houghton Lake Ambulance Tax Levy proposal was approved on the May 7, 2013, election ballot in Roscommon County, which is in Michigan.

“ | Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Lake and Roscommon Townships, of 1.69 mills ($1.69 per $1,000 of taxable value), be renewed at the original voted 1.69 mills, ($1.69 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for 4 years, 2013-2016 inclusive, for operating the Houghton Lake Ambulance, raising an estimated $432,367 in the first year the millage is levied.[1][2] | ” |
