Houston L. Brown
Houston Lanier Brown was a civil division judge of Circuit 10 in Jefferson County, Alabama.[1] He began serving in that position in April of 2000.[2] He announced his retirement in June of 2015 and retired on November 5, 2015.[3]
Education
Judge Brown received his B.A. degree from Talladega College and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.[2]
Career
Judge Brown was admitted to the practice of law on April 23, 1973.[4] He joined the circuit court in 2000.[2]
2012 election

Brown was to compete against Chuck Hunter in the general election on November 6, but Hunter was removed from the ballot. Brown was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6][7]
