Four seats on the Howard County Public Schools school board in Maryland were up for at-large general election on November 6, 2018. Because more than eight candidates filed to run in this election, a primary was held on June 26, 2018. No incumbents filed to run for re-election, which left all four seats open for newcomers. Anita Pandey, Bob Glascock, Chao Wu, Danny Mackey, Jen Mallo, Robert Wayne Miller, Sabina Taj, and Vicky Cutroneo advanced to the general election. Candidates Timothy Hodgson Hamilton, Christopher Michael Hilfiger, Carleen Pena, Saif Rehman, and Mavourene Robinson were defeated in the primary.[1][2]
