I am a native Arkansan who served in the US Navy as a nuclear propulsion Surface Warfare Officer. I work for paper mills in Arkansas by supplying specialty chemicals. I have a lovely wife and three children living in Conway, Arkansas. We are passionate about the virtue and creativity of individuals working together as families, churches, businesses, and non-profits and are running to minimize the coercive intervention of politicians and bureaucrats. We believe that liberty can exist only in a society dedicated to the rule of law and that public servants ought to apply the same law to all people especially those in positions of power.
  • Health and Wellness are primarily the responsibility of the individual and I want to remove obstacles from individuals pursuing and controlling their own medical needs.
  • Drug users are not criminals and should not be searched or arrested for the possession of a banned substance. Police power should be reserved for only violent criminals to protect victims from assault or theft.
  • Civilians cannot rely on police for their personal protection; therefore, no infringements on the right to possess and carry firearms should be tolerated. The 2nd amendment was not for hunting, but to preserve liberty and discourage tyrants.
I am personally passionate about health care and the use of the military.

I am against industry special interests controlling by force, who can practice medicine and what is considered legitimate medicine. Although there is a role for the civil government in punishing malpractice and harming patients, industry regulations do more harm than good by restricting the entry of new medical providers, removing incentives to conserve the efforts of limited providers, and thus driving up the cost of all healthcare uncontrollably.

Our military is currently being abused by maintaining or overturning various regimes around the world for the purpose of expanding an empire of our banking and corporate interests at the expense of everyday Americans.
Among imperfect mortals, Ron Paul is the politician I would most like to follow. Ron Paul had clearly defined principles and he never submitted them to the idol of being popular or rich like just about every other politician. His principles, if ever enacted, would done the most to contribute to human flourishing by rooting out greedy special interests from abusing power.
Integrity, humility, and equality under the law are the most important characteristics and principles for a state legislator.
I would like to leave a legacy that people started viewing government, not as a means to attain their economic interests, but as a means to establish justice for all people.
Oh, sing to me of heaven!

When I am called to die
Sing songs of holy ecstasy,
To waft my soul on high!

Then, to my ravished ears,
Let one sweet song be given--
Let music charm me last on earth,

And greet me first in Heaven.
Federal debt and the continuing rise of inflation will devastate the lower economic classes and we will have to work to restore economic sanity and restraint to government.
I believe it can be helpful if someone has the right principles because it would make them more efficient at passing policy. However, it can be a red flag if someone loves public office.
There are certain principles that should not be compromised, but when it comes to actually putting the rubber to the road, there will be many things that require compromising. Compromise is necessary because no one has all the relevant information. But when a policy would violate the rights of people, compromise would be a sin.
