Howard R. Lloyd was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He was appointed to this position on June 4, 2002, and retired when his term ended on June 3, 2018.[1][2]

Education

Judge Lloyd received his B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary in 1963 and his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1968.[1]

Career

Judge Lloyd worked for the law firm Hoge, Fenton, Jones and Appel from 1969 to 1999. He then worked as an independent alternative dispute resolution provider until he was appointed to the U.S. District Court in 2002.[1]
