Howard R. Tallman
Howard R. Tallman was a judge for the United States bankruptcy court, District of Colorado. He was appointed December 6, 2002, and retired January 3, 2017. He served as chief judge from January 2007 to July 214.[1][2]
Education
Judge Tallman received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Villanova University and his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Colorado Graduate School of Business. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.[1][3]
Career
- 2002-2017: Judge, United States bankruptcy court, District of Colorado
- Served as the U.S. trustee for Region 19, covering Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
- Previously, Judge Tallman practiced with the Denver firm of Block Markus & Williams LLC.
- 1996-2000: Member, Chapter 7 panel of trustees for Colorado
- 1986-1995: Judge Tallman practiced with the Denver office of the regional firm of Holland & Hart LLP.[1]
