Howard Wilson is a judge for the Sixteenth District Chancery Court. The court presides over Rutherford and Cannon counties in Tennessee.[1] He was elected to the court on August 7, 2014, and began serving on September 1. His current eight-year term expires in 2022.[2]

Education

Wilson received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law.[4]

Career

Before his election to the court in 2014, Wilson worked as an attorney in private practice. He has also previously served as an administrative law judge for the Tennessee Department of Special Education for fifteen years and as a special judge for the General Sessions Court and Murfreesboro Municipal Court.[5]
