Elliott was admitted to the Tennessee and Alabama Bar in 1982. Before serving on Circuit 14, he was a lawyer in Jasper, Alabama.[1]
2012 election
Elliott defeated Blake Alan Payne in the general election on November 6, winning 55.57% of the vote.[2][3]
