Hoyt Elliott Jr. is a judge on the Circuit 14 court in Alabama. His term expires in 2018.

Education

Elliott earned his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.[1]

Career

Elliott was admitted to the Tennessee and Alabama Bar in 1982. Before serving on Circuit 14, he was a lawyer in Jasper, Alabama.[1]

2012 election

Elliott defeated Blake Alan Payne in the general election on November 6, winning 55.57% of the vote.[2][3]
