Hubert Houser
Hubert Houser (b. October 9, 1942) is a former Republican member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 11 from 2003 to 2015. He previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1992 to 2001. He served on the Carson-Macedonia School Board, and as County Supervisor for Pottawattomie County Board of Supervisors from 1979 to 1993. Houser did not seek re-election in 2014.

Houser defeated Democratic candidate Scott Schondelmeyer by a margin of 15,017 to 5,281 in the November 2 general election.[1]
In the June 8 primary election, Houser ran unopposed.[2]

On November 7, 2006, Houser was re-elected to the 49th District Seat in the Iowa State Senate with no opposition.[3] He raised $22,770 for his campaign.[4]
