Hull Maynard
Hull Maynard (b. August 8, 1934) is a former Republican member of the Vermont State Senate. He represented Rutland County from 1996-2009. He resigned in late 2009 to spend more time with his family.[1]
Maynard earned his Bachelor's from Middlebury College. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Connecticut.
Maynard worked as a moderator, Justice of the Peace, and an independent insurance agent.
Elections
2008
On November 4, 2008, Maynard won re-election by finishing second for the three-seat Rutland District of the Vermont State Senate, receiving 13,077 votes behind Democrat Bill Carris (16,194) and ahead of Republican Kevin Mullin (12,783), Democrats Cheryl Hooker (11,869) and Hope Blucher (9,945), Republican Gregory Decker (6,117), and write-ins (44).[2]
Maynard raised $6,670 for his campaign, against $8,615 by Carris, $14,955 by Mullin, $12,084 by Hooker, $9,912 by Blucher, and $1,625 by Decker.[3]
