Hunchu Kwak

Hunchu Kwak is a judge of the Hartford District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] Kwak was confirmed on February 4, 2011. Kwak will serve an eight-year term.[2]
Kwak is the first Korean-American superior court judge in Connecticut.[3]
Military service
Kwak served in the United States Army.[3]
Education
Kwak received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1998.[4][3]
Career
Prior to taking the bench, Kwak was the director of risk management for Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, and in patient care regulation for the Connecticut Hospital Association.[3]
