Two Huron County Veterans & Seniors Levy Renewal measures were on the August 7, 2012 ballot in Huron County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to renew the current veterans levy which is set at a rate of $.08 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for veteran services in the county.
- YES 4,053 (81.85%)
- NO 899 (18.15%)
The second measure sought to renew the current seniors levy which is set at a rate of $.20 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for senior services in the county.[1]
