Hello, I am Hussein Jabiri, and I am proud to be running for Ohio State Representative District 6. For the past three decades, I have called this diatricy home. I am deveoted husband and a proud father of wonderful two teenagers. As a candidiate for State Representative, my background demonstartes my commitment to serving our community and addvocating for inclussive policies. With over 15 years as commuication strategist and policy advisor, I have the previllege of working with organization, such as, UNICEF, Voice of America, and the US Miliatary- Africon in Horn of Africa. Thise extenssive experience has honed my skills in strategic planning, crises management and effective communication , all crucial for addressing the complex issues our community faces. I aspire to use my leadership skills and experience in crises management to create a lasting positive impact on our community. My active involvement in the community as a Founder/CEO Brava Foundation has shown me the power of collective action. I pursued higher education on a full scholarship, graduating with hoors, and ultimatrly carving a path to sucss. Today I stand as proud example of how hard work andn opportunity can transform a life. My educational background includes, BA Broadcasting and Communications, from California State University Los Ageles, and MA from Ohio University, Athens. This educationhas provided me with a strong foundation ot address the challenges and opportunities ahead.

1. Legislation- Drafting , proposing and votinfg State laws and policies that variou saspects of life in Ohio, such as education, heathcare, econoic evelopment and pubpic safety.

2. Representation- Acting as a voice for the rsidents of their district, understanding their concerns, and advocating for their needs in the Ohio House of Representatives.
3. Constituents Services- Assisting constituents with issues related to State government, such as, navigating State programs, resolving problems with State agencies, or addressing local concsern
4. Budget Oversight: Participating in the State's budget process, ensuring funds are allocated to neessary services, such as, education, transporation, public safety and infrastructure while maintaing fiscal reponsibilty.
5. Public Policy- Supportig or opposinf State wide initiatives, ammendements and public policies based on their needs and intrests, whie advancing the part's broad broader legislative agenda
6. Communit Engagement- Staying involved in te district through town hall meetings and public evebts to keep constituents informed and involved in the legislative process.

The landing of the moon , specifically thre Apollo 11 mission in 1969marked a significant milestone in human history. It was the first time that humans set set foot on another planet. For many children growung up at that time including myself growin g up in Africa at that time represents a moment of wonder and possibilty.
