Hwikwon Ham
Hwikwon Ham is a member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Ham assumed office on January 8, 2024. Ham's current term ends on January 3, 2028.
Tim Walz (D) appointed Ham to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on January 3, 2024 to replace Matthew Schuerger and the remainder of a six-year term on the commission.[1]
Biography
Ham received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in economics from the University of Minnesota. His professional experience includes working in state government on energy issues, including as the supervisor for the regional energy program within the Public Utilities Commission. Before that, he worked as an energy rates analyst with the Minnesota Department of Commerce.[2]
