Hy Kloc was a Democratic member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 16B from 2012 to 2018.

Kloc did not seek re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives in 2018.

Kloc was also an at-large representative to the board of directors of the Greater Boise Auditorium District. He was first elected to this position in 2011, and won re-election to another six-year term in the May special district election on May 16, 2017.[1]

Kloc passed away on December 7, 2022.[2]

2017

The Greater Boise Auditorium District (GBAD) held nonpartisan elections for two of five members of its board of directors on May 16, 2017. All GBAD directors are elected at large and serve six-year terms. The filing deadline to run in this election was March 17, 2017.[4][5] Hy Kloc and Kristin Muchow defeated Judy M. Peavey-Derr and Scott Mecham for the two seats.[6]

Elections for the Idaho House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Incumbent Hy Kloc was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jim Silsby was unopposed in the Republican primary. Kloc defeated Silsby in the general election.[11][12][13][14]

Kloc won election in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 16B. Kloc defeated David A. Honey in the Democratic primary on May 15 and defeated Graham Paterson (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[15][16][17]
