I grew up in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. Like many of you, I chose to make Orange Township my home. My wife and I moved here five years ago because we were drawn to the safety, excellent schools for our two daughters, beautiful parks, and strong sense of community. We knew this was the perfect place to raise our family. I’m running to be your next Orange Township Trustee because I believe in protecting what makes our community unique while investing in a future that benefits all of us.
  • Development in Orange Township is out of control. We are seeing rapid, unchecked growth that is putting immense strain on our roads, schools, first responders, and natural resources. This kind of short-sighted expansion benefits developers in the short term, but it’s the residents who are left to deal with the long-term consequences — traffic congestion, overcrowded schools, and loss of green space. It’s time to shift our focus toward smart development and growth that is thoughtfully planned, sustainable, and aligned with the needs and values of our community. We must prioritize infrastructure, preserve our quality of life, and ensure that new projects truly serve the public interest.
  • In addition to prioritizing smart development, we must invest in services that strengthen our community. I support creating an Orange Township Community Center. A place for recreation, education, and connection. This center would offer space for fitness, youth and senior programs, educational classes, and community events. Importantly, it would include theater and performance space to support the arts and bring people together. Smart development means more than new homes, it means building the spaces that make a community thrive.
  • Transparent, responsive leadership is what Orange Township deserves, and that’s exactly what I will provide.
Smart growth, expanding community services, quality education for all students, environmental sustainability, fiscal responsibility.
Township trustees play a vital role in shaping the everyday quality of life in our community. While state and federal governments often get the headlines, it’s township government that most directly impacts our daily lives, from maintaining local roads and parks to ensuring responsible land use, fiscal stewardship, and community services. Trustees serve as the bridge between residents and larger levels of government, making sure local voices are heard and local values are protected. In the bigger picture, effective township leadership strengthens the foundation of democracy by keeping government close to the people, transparent, responsive, and rooted in the needs of the community.
Honesty is the foundation of effective public service. People deserve leaders who tell the truth, even when it’s difficult, and who make decisions transparently. An elected official should work to unite, not divide, by finding common ground and focusing on what brings our community together. That means listening to the voices of everyday residents, not the interests of big business or political insiders. Above all, our leaders should strive to make our community a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard.
The core responsibilities of anyone elected to public office begins with integrity, doing what’s right, even when no one is watching. People place their trust in their representatives, and that trust must be earned and maintained through honesty and transparency. Accountability is equally important; elected officials should be willing to explain their decisions, own their mistakes, and always put the public interest first. Above all, this role requires a genuine desire to listen—to understand the needs, hopes, and concerns of the people we serve—and to use that input to guide every decision.
Township government is about understanding people’s needs, listening to diverse perspectives, and making fair, transparent decisions. Those qualities don’t come from politics, they come from a genuine commitment to serve. Public service experience teaches you to work collaboratively, stay grounded in the community, and focus on making a positive difference rather than advancing a political agenda.
Strong management experience is essential for this role. Township trustees are responsible for making decisions that affect people, budgets, and long-term community priorities, so the ability to lead effectively, plan strategically, and manage resources responsibly is crucial. My background in overseeing teams, balancing budgets, and coordinating complex projects has taught me how to make thoughtful, data-driven decisions while keeping people at the center of every choice. Trustees must be able to listen, build consensus, and ensure that taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and transparently. Those are the skills that translate directly into responsible and effective local governance.
This role is unique because it operates at the level of government closest to the people. Trustees make decisions that directly shape the daily lives of residents, managing budgets, maintaining essential services, guiding development, and ensuring the responsible use of public funds.
My biggest accomplishment is helping to create an environment for my children's happiness.
