Biography

Ian Gamroth was born in Columbus, Indiana. Gamroth served in the U.S. Air Force from 1999 to 2014. He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 2018. Gamroth's career experience incldudes working as a fifth grade public school teacher. He has been affiliated with the National Education Association, the Indiana State Teachers Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, with Haubstadt Sommerfest, and with the city of Princeton, Indiana.[1]

I'm a teacher, father, and veteran that wants to support our teachers, improve Hoosier healthcare, and bring our infrastructure to the 21st century.
  • Ian is a proponent of universal pre-K, and supports fully-funding public schools to improve educational outcomes and to address Indiana's teacher shortage.
  • Ian knows the district needs better access to quality and affordable healthcare and he will work to reduce the price of prescription medication.
  • Ian will be driving force to bring our outdated infrastructure up to date. Improving roads, bridges, and increasing access to rural broadband.
