The Idaho Adoption of Two Percent Sales Tax Referendum, also known as Referendum 1, was on the November 3, 1936 ballot in Idaho as a veto referendum, where it was defeated. The measure struck down an existing two percent sales tax that was the result of a co-operative emergency revenue act in 1935.[1]
