The Idaho Bonds in Aid of Railroads Amendment, also known as House Joint Resolution 5, Pt. 2, was on the November 6, 1906 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have permitted counties, towns, villages and other subdivisions of the state to vote bonds in aid of railroads and others works of internal improvement.[1] House Joint Resolution 5 placed both this measure and the Authorization of Qualified Electors to Incur Public Indebtedness Amendment on the ballot.
