The Idaho Pay Increase for Legislators Amendment, also known as Senate Joint Resolution , was on the November 5, 1968 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have allowed compensation for state legislators to be set by the legislature rather than by the Constitution. The measure also would have removed a twenty day limit on special sessions.[1][2]
