Idaho Radioactive Waste Agreement Initiative, Initiative 3 (1996)

The Idaho Radioactive Waste Agreement Initiative, also known as Initiative 3, was on the November 5, 1996 ballot in Idaho as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have required legislative and voter approval of agreements for the receipt of additional radioactive waste, and nullify any prior agreement.[1]
