The Idaho Railroad Taxation Exemption Amendment, also known as Senate Joint Resolution 5, was on the November 6, 1906 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have exempted railroad lines constructed in less than ten years from taxation.[1]
