The Idaho Sale of Public University Lands Amendment was not on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have provided that no public university lands shall be sold for less than their appraised values and provide that such lands be sold in subdivisions not to exceed 3,200 acres per year to any one person or business firm.[1]
The Idaho Constitution permitted, at the time of proposed amendment, public university lands to be sold for not less than $10 per acre and that such lands are to be sold in subdivisions not to exceed 160 acres to any one person or business firm.[1]
The measure was introduced into the Idaho Legislature by the Senate State Affairs Committee as Senate Joint Resolution 104.[2]
