The Idaho Selection of Chief Justice Amendment, also known as House Joint Resolution 2, was on the November 2, 1982 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure allowed the Supreme Court Chief Justice to be selected by the other justices.[1]
