Idaho Supreme Court Justice backs out of debate
May 13, 2010
Idaho: Idaho Supreme Court Justice Jim Jones has reversed his decision to meet state Supreme Court candidate John Bradbury, a judge for the Second Judicial District, in a public debate over issues that Bradbury has raised with the court. Jones had previously agreed to debate Bradbury and had, in fact, given Bradbury three possible dates for the debate after Bradbury had said he would debate Jones "anytime, anywhere." In letter dated on Monday, May 10, Jones informed Bradbury that he was nullifying his agreement for debate because he believes that Bradbury's issues with the court have been adequately contested by others.
Jone is running unopposed for another six-year term on the court and Bradbury is running against Justice Roger Burdick.[1]
