Idaho: The Idaho Supreme Court attracted national attention in February 2011 when an analysis by Forster-Long, LLC published by the National Association of Women Judges showed that it is one of just three high courts in the 50 American states to have no women on its bench.[1],[2]
Overall, just 11% of judges in the Idaho's high court, intermediate appellate court and district courts are women. The 11% representation of women on Idaho's trial and appellate courts compares unfavorably to the national average, where women make up 26% of state court judges.[2]
