Idaho: Normally, appellate court races in states with popular election of judges are an interesting affair. This year in Idaho, the justice and judges with terms expiring will sail to re-election, running unopposed.

Justice Daniel Eismann will start his third full term in January, following his 2000 election to the court. Chief Judge David Gratton and Judge John Michael Melanson will both begin their first six-year terms next year. They were both appointed to the court by Governor Butch Otter in 2009.[1]
